I cannot Effing believe...
..that my Mexican neighbors think its OK to crank their mariachi effing music as loud as it can effing go at effing 12:30 AM on Christmas Eve. Jeezus! Some people also celebrate on Christmas Day and need to effing sleep. Not to mention that those people may have also been up since 5 AM and are sooo effing tired! SHIT!

I think you meant to say ELFing, and HaySoos? Sorry for the suffering. I get really peeved when that happens to me too. Almost homicidal. ; ) Thank God, it's never gone to completely homicidal or I'd be in jail by now. I now fully stock up on earplugs for such times, and even have to run the tv and fan all night in addition if it's too loud. And yes, have called the coppers too. I'm a mean old grinch when I'm tired.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong. I don't judge anyone and how they celebrate IF they aren't being outragously rude and inconsiderate. By 12:30AM Christmas Eve/Day the festivities should tone down! I don't care if they want to stay up all night long! Just have some consideration, ya know. And that mariachi music had some pretty loud ass horns! it wasn't bad until the horns kicked in then it was unbearable. I keep earplugs for the reason of husband snoring... I don't think I should have to use them to block out the neighbors party at 12:30AM.

LOL we used to have a neighbor behind us who did that on Friday nights. There are kids on either side of me. I heard one neighbor out there yelling at them - so I got the other neighbor and all 3 of us ganged up on them and told them to turn it down. We had to do it again the next weekend, but when we threatened with cops, they started behaving. The two neighbors are rednecks (certified) and one has a confederate flag in his tree... yah, the neighbors paid attention when we bitched :)
